IT Security Issues Nowadays

It is well known that even nowadays IT professionals face daily security matters. Even in our country large companies complain every year, with losses of million of electronic attacks.
Although the entire technology of cryptography is based on mathematical problems and despite the fact that the market is already a variety of powerful cryptographic algorithms, none is proven mathematically to be 100% sure. As a first solution came to mind researchers, was used to increase the size of keys (eg key switching from one represented by a 512 bit key and 1024 bit later even 2048 bit), but this solution seems to be just a matter of time. This weakness is not negligible, in fact it seems that the only and best solution would be finding other algorithms based on mathematical formulas and more powerful.
Since the number of Internet users, and all the benefits of these, increasing significantly from year to year, the issue of security will always remain a concern that we have in mind.

Some of the negative effects of breaking a system:
• Loss of business due to access to confidential data, allowing competitors to gain significant market places;
• The reputation and image, compromised;
• Loss of storage, organization is responsible not only for lost goods, but also for loss of confidential relationship;
• Loss of assets can take many forms: money and equipment, services, public networking capabilities;
• Loss of trade secrets, manufacturing and technology, which by their behavior can have a dramatic effect on profit organization.

  1. I never get the idea why somebody or some groups always try to ruin something by creating a virus. Breaking into a system is getting to be an old news. Few have that knowledge of tricks. Maybe some IT or company need to go low profile, easy to say. Without a doubt, current economy is probing someone to steal, cheat or copy.
